These Terms govern your use of ImportLookup (importlookup.com). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ImportLookup provides a searchable interface over publicly disclosed U.S. import bill-of-lading records. We aim for accuracy but the data is provided “as is” and may contain errors, omissions, or delays.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for unlawful purposes; scrape, bulk-download, or resell our data or interface without written permission; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or use the data to harass any individual or business.

3. Data & accuracy

The underlying customs data originates from U.S. government public records. We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy and are not liable for decisions made based on the data. Entity resolution (matching company-name variants) is automated and may be imperfect. Figures labelled as estimates — including estimated shipping spend — are derived approximations, not invoiced amounts.

4. Accounts & communications

If you join our list, you consent to receive product and early-access emails. You can unsubscribe anytime.

5. Intellectual property

The ImportLookup name, design, and software are owned by us. The underlying customs records are public data and are not owned by us.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImportLookup is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes & termination

We may modify these Terms or the service at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these Terms.
